I started Box to Box Soccer Training out of my pure love for the game — I love to play, I love to train, and I love to watch, learn, and grow as a coach.
I've been playing soccer since a very early age. I grew up playing for South Central Premier and Oakwood Soccer Club in Connecticut under several Hall of Fame coaches. I won numerous state titles at the club and high school level, receiving individual honors and awards while playing for nationally ranked programs. I also competed in Region 1 Championships (two-time regional finalists) and tournaments throughout the United States and internationally. My soccer career continued through college at Clark University and the USASA league in Baltimore, Maryland.
I am licensed by the USSF and hold the Coerver Coaching Youth Diploma 1. I possess many years of coaching experience at the high school level in Maine and New Jersey, as well as in youth soccer programs and camps in New Jersey and Connecticut. As a player I was trained in several different methods including Coerver coaching, which I incorporate into my own training.
My philosophy on player development — which was formed during my time as a player, coach, and lifelong fan and student of the game — is player centered, with the aim of helping kids develop a confident, free flowing style.
